1 oz. Jig seems way more funk than roots/americana/country to me…which really would’ve affected who I voted for if they’d been put in the right category. And no Cletus Got Shot for band of the year!? What’s up with that!?
Comment by bomo on April 8, 2010 at 12:10 pm
I am pretty sure that I read a few weeks ago that R.J. Mischo used exclusively pick up musicians wherever he gigged. A strange nominee for Band of the year. It will be fun to see who shows up.

Thanks for the nominations, NAMA crew. Glad to see Monster Heart with a nod!
Comment by izbliz on April 8, 2010 at 12:54 pm
I was under the impression that after a band wins three years in a row that they are no longer eligible and would be inducted into some sort of hall of fame???
Comment by Robin on April 8, 2010 at 1:31 pm
Total fail in the roots/americana/country category. 1oz Jig belongs in Funk. Do the NAMA folks even go to shows? If I was in a ACTUAL americana band, I’d be pissed. And I guess the Fayetteville Funk Ensemble is happy. Now they have a chance to win Funk.

Thank you, Fayetteville! This is my first time to ever be nominated for a Nama. It’s great to be a part of such a supportive community of artists. Nice to see all the haters on here trying to ruin it for everyone who got nominated.
Randall Shreve

Quite a bit of miss-classification…but I see that others have vented enough for 3 of me, sooooo…1 OZ JIG love! No category for keyboards for my bro
Matteo Jenkins, a true virtuoso? Or my buddy Jeff Gray on horn? hmmm…guess that would require too many additional categories. Anyway, JK for singer/songwriter of the year, and the Jig for BotY.
Comment by Sticklick on April 8, 2010 at 8:24 pm
I’m loving this shreve hating. I’m around the both of them everyday and they love making out with dudes of equal preportioned beards and hats. And oh man they sure can’t play a guitar and/or write a song. And they mostly sit on their asses and don’t play shows, ever.

@cluelesswaif,
Votes are tracked by the specific IP address in order to avoid ballot-stuffing. If that weren’t in place, then someone could conceivably create spam accounts just to vote more than once.
The IP system generally works well, except in the instance where several people share the same internet connection.
In that particular situation, only one person can vote. If you would like to e-mail me at nama@namaawards.com and I can verify a few things, we can discuss a solution.

I am very dissappointed in how the nominations are done. There are bands in this town that work their butts off every day to prove themselves yet bands that only play 3 gigs a year are nominated. Absolutly rediculious and I will not be voting this year. Thanks for takin away my faith in the Northwest Arkansas Music scene!

Congrats to all the bands who made the ballot this year. Weird category definitions as usual. Particularly the Rock Categories. When is The NAMA’s going to clearly define the difference between Rock, Hard Rock, and Metal?
BKI as Southern Rock? Calling Tokyo is Hard Rock which should be in the same category as Fade 2 Fall, Silverstone, Black Leaf Clover, etc.

1.The selection committee needs to get out more.
2. Both the shreves combined can’t pull of a 4 hour bar show w/o repeating material over and over.
3. this is a nice thing for the musicians, an annual op to wank each other off instead of talking sh*t about each other like the other 364 days.
4. you really can’t take this sh*t serious or else you are a pus.

Congrats to all nominated! Thank you so much for making this region’s music so rich and diverse! I am however, absolutely disgusted at all this trash talk about Randall and Benjamin. If you don’t like the music, don’t listen. I can personally attest to the fact that they do not try to tear down any other musician. It’s pathetic that some of you using the keyboard as a shield will sit here and bash the very people who try to further the local music here. My name is Geoff Baker, I recently joined the sideshow and I find the music to be wonderful and the friends I’ve made in and around the band some of the sweetest I have ever met. You want to keep talkin’ trash I AM A VERY EASY PERSON TO FIND and would appreciate discussing how terrible you think we are in person as opposed to reading it under your false blogging name (I would like to keep you within headbutting distance basically). That said this is a celebration not a competition, I can’t wait to meet all the wonderful bands nominated and enjoy a night praising the local music that has made my life so much better over the last few years! All of you rock me!

I think people are extremely jealous of what The Shreve brothers have going on. To me it means they are doing something right and all of you wish you had what they have. I challenge all of you who talk like that to start a band and do better (most of you will fail). Maybe your music scene is suffering because you all treat people like this who try to make a difference. Your town will never be important in the music world if you dont embrace ALL of the music. You are being small minded when you talk like that. Try thinking bigger for a change…

A little criticism and you want to bring out the whoop a*s. WOW! If you want to do something constructive and positive for the local music scene, go out and collect about half the instruments that belong to the nominees and perform a controlled burn. That should improve the local scene about 212%. Let me know if I’m wrong.
First of all, thank you for supporting local music. You’re right. There are a ton of great bands in this area that I don’t see on the ballot.
Secondly, you’ve mentioned my lack of shows over the past year so I’ll respond with the facts. I only played 106 performances last year. It surely seemed like less because I didn’t book them all in NWA. I had shows in New York, Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Missouri, and Texas as well as a few shows in Europe. I’ll definitely try to play more shows this year.
As far as Geoff “threatening” you… Relax. He was making a joke. Who really headbutts? It was meant to be sarcastic and funny and he and I thought it was when we showed me last night. His simplified point was that we post our names on here and treat others with respect. But when responding to criticism from others, we have to call them by their screen name (i.e. lojacaveman).
Finally, if you want to meet up with any of us and discuss how we can all make this music community stronger, just contact me and I’ll buy you a drink. Randall@randallshreve.com. If you just want to talk about how awful you think we are because it makes you feel good, come do it at a show.
I’m proud to be a part of this music community. Thank you for a wonderful first year, and my first NAMA nominations. Can’t wait to see you all there.
Randall Shreve
Comment by snobrdsandtownes on April 12, 2010 at 2:38 pm
Due to the constant editing by moderators my replacement for curse words will be as follows, Flip, Ace, Poop, Darn, Kitty, Female Dog and Rumpelstiltskin.
First, lojacaveman, whats your name? I mean if Geoff is nice enough to give his name and not hide behind the keyboard why can’t you do the same. I can guess your allegiances by the first part of your name and i can also deduct that you are as flipping dumb as the second part of your name. Ace hole.
Second, you are a flipping kitty. The Nama’s Rigged? It’s northwest Arkansas music awards, not Florida music awards. When I first read that i started rolling around on the floor and it took me 30 darn minutes to stop laughing enough to post this! AWW POOP! I’m laughing again! This isn’t Miley Cirus vs U2 at the flipping grammys! It’s a bunch of people getting together to recieve a freaking piece of paper in a frame! I’m pretty sure that people don’t rig an awards ceremony to receive something that costs the collective price of $4.83 at Hobby Lobby in the clearance section.
Third, we all know that this means absolutely nothing!!!! It’s an awards ceremony in a city that basically a Zit on the ace of the world! No one thinks that this will be a GREAT TURNING POINT in the history of their careers! Name a band that won something in the 15 year history of the namas that took off? Can’t think of anyone? Wait, give lojacaveman’s piece of poop neanderthal brain a few more minutes to process this. Thinking’s tough ain’t it? Done? Ok good. THERE IS NONE. The whole reason behind this is to have some flipping fun. I’ve been to multiple NAMA ceremonies and everyone there is just happy to be there and have some fun.
Fourth, I will address your obvious disdain for the Shreve brothers. I do have to say that attacking a person for how they look and what they put on their face is rather shallow and poor in taste. I’m trying to think of a similar person who made fun of people for how they looked. Can you help me? Oh yeah HITLER. He really didn’t make fun of people for how they look he really just systematically ethnically cleansed a group of people for what they believed. But, making fun of a person for what they believe in wearing is somewhat along the same lines. It’s just cowardly. I personally know the Shreve brothers, along with more than half the bands nominated, most of the bar owners on dickson and most of the bands that do play on said street and I have yet to hear anything more than, “it’s not my style of music, but I respect what they do”. I think I do know where you have heard such things, but I can’t describe it because I’m pretty sure the moderators can delete my comment based on describing certain solo self satisfying acts. BUT I’M SURE EVERYONE CATCHES MY DRIFT. As for the Shreve brothers, they are great people, who make fun music for me to enjoy. Do they make the great rock anthems that can be compared to early AC/DC? No. Do they have the emotional depth of Radiohead? Never. Do they do something that is different than most things I’ve heard these days? Yes! (enter comments about ben being a 90′s rock ripoff)
Here’s what you should do geicocaveman. Find them out, tell them who you are and what you’ve written here, then ask them to buy you a drink. They will. Then engage in a great conversation with them.
I doubt you will but hey its worth a shot to ask. Fliptard. You propbably will just hide behind the wires and this curtain of 1′s and 0′s and be victorious with your beautiful anonymity.
lojacaveman, read a book on music history. If that’s too hard, learn to make a flipping fire.
Moderators, please let this stay on the comments section! There has been no profane language!
Everyone else, keep the hate comments coming because it is what makes America great.
And for everyone that’s wondering, my name is Jesus Christ. Son of God and Son of man.
Finally, vote for Adam Putman and Insomniac studios. Without him all your poopy bands wouldn’t be able to give you the material to make this B.S. thread happen.
Peace on earth and goodwill towards men (except lojacaveman)
Rumpelstiltskin

Well said, Randall… but you and everyone else should NOT have to defend yourself on this board. JazzDragon put it nicely, this is a celebration – there is no room for criticism here.
My suggestion to NAMA Admin is to facilitate a “positive” environment and remove posts that are negative. I repeat, “there is no room for criticism here.” As you can see from above, allowing critical commentary makes this forum into a battle ground. I doubt this was NAMA’s mission… ?
I wish that we didn’t have to waste our energy responding to derogatory opinions (that some people seem to think they have a right to spew), from those whom want to tear down the magic that music brings into our lives – regardless of the genre.
So, to those musicians that feel the need to defend themselves – don’t worry – you don’t have to… as NO ONE is giving any serious attention to the negative crap.
Congrats to all nominated, those that did not make the ballot, and those that played their hearts out to bring NWA live music – THANK YOU!

Thanks for the reply, NAMA Admin. The level of moderation is certainly your decision – and I appreciate your attention to the matter.
My final comment on the subject of moderation is that this forum is an extension and precursor to the actual awards ceremony. If you feel that the level of hostility/aggression here is the form that you want the ceremony to represent… then no stronger moderation is warranted.
I just want these awards to continue to be something to look forward to and enjoy. While artists don’t like censorship, I still say moderate liberally… only those that abusing this thread will be offended – trust me.
Again, thank you – and I am looking forward to the awards show!!

i love music. i love local music. i love OUR local music.
could it be better? yes. we don’t have the music scene of Austin or Seattle, but doesnt that just give us something to strive for? do i like all the music i hear in fayetteville? no i don’t, but that is because music is an amazing subjective experience and i won’t like everything. one thing i will tell you though is that i have the upmost respect for all my fellow local musicians who are putting themselves on the line with their art, and i support them. just because you don’t like it is no reason to not support it. putting people down and acting like they don’t have the right to be in this awards ceremony makes me kind of sick actually. support our local music scene, dont tear it down, and if you do at least tell us to our face when you come to our shows what the problem is, instead of flaming everybody on a message board.
btw i think randal has some of the most interesting music around, and puts on one of the best shows. fantastic
lastly i would like to reiterate that i love our music here in fayetteville, and thank you to everybody who is being supportive, you are the ones who will keep it alive.

It’s nice to see so much passion about the local music scene, but let’s remember regardless of taste and preference, it’s nice to just have a music scene. I grew up in an area where a full out pilgrimage was necessary to find live music, and it was often less than fantastic. At least there are enough people making things happen that we have options.
That being said, band members of two of the nominated bands are a part of a non-profit organization that focuses on helping kids pursue music. Jeremy from Maud Crawford and Geoff from Randall’s band have been kind enough to donate their time to spend a few hours with these kids, letting them play on their actual instruments, and teaching them a few basics. When they volunteered their time, I knew very little about their music, but was impressed with their willingness to contribute to the community. If anyone else is interested in getting involved, I invite you to contact me at musicmentors@hotmail.com. Aside from the obvious benefits to the kids, it shows NWA that local musicians care about the community. And trust me, these kids at shelters and after school programs don’t care about who wears mascara or rocks less than anyone else. They deal with real issues everyday and appreciate the attention and care. I would love to hear from anyone who would like to help. Congrats to all of the nominees!

Not that anyone cares but here’s my suggestions if you haven’t voted yet: You can’t loose if you go with A Good Fight, either of the Shreve bros, The Counterlife, Monster Heart, Dead Bird, Adam Putman and The Radio Sky. All these bands are great live and make great music!
Comment by adeboer on April 13, 2010 at 10:14 am
Can’t believe how nasty everyone is being. The Shreve’s are not just great musicians but stellar people. Anyone who bothered to go see a show or talk to them would know this. Good luck boys and to the many other talented musicians in Fayetteville!!

Excellence and innovation should be recognized and applauded, thank you NAMA. I saw BDS at Sticky Fingerz a few months ago, he packed it, he brought it down, he kicked it in the head. This band rocks! Fayetteville is well-represented wherever they go!
While I haven’t seen Randall in person (as a frontman), the music and videos I’ve heard and seen really stand out. People who have the guts to make a concept album, adopt the persona and pursue their vision are always going to draw harsh criticism from people who prefer the status quo…
I know I’m a few days late in responding to you but better late than never right? Plus we really do need a break from all the Shrevemongering going on…hate them or not guys it’s played out, find something else to kvetch about.
And Sandy…I’m not in a band, never claimed to be, nor would anyone have me in their band if I WANTED to be. I’m not musically inclined, just a fan.
And a fan of what in my mind is best band of the year Cletus Got Shot.
But way too be hateful right off the bat.

I have had one solo gig in the last eight months, and I’m sure Fayetteville has forgotten about me, if they ever knew me. But I did share a canoe with Peter Yarrow on a Kerrville Texas river, and he made me paddle the whole trip. I think this alone gives me cred. Thanks for the nomination! And he swore he wasn’t stoned when he wrote “Puff the Magic Dragon.” Hmmmm…

Family Dogs are the best out and out rock show in this area. No disrespect to anyone else but if you have been to one of thier shows you know what im talking about. They deserve to win.

OK, already having put into perspective at least once, lets remember that NOT ONE BAND since the CATES have ever signed to a major label having come from the Fayetteville music market. Thats been 35 years.

This is great. I’m starting a cage match directly after the awards show. It’s gonna be called “Musicians vs. Haters.” I’ve got most of it lined out so far with special guest referees Brett Michaels and Rowdy Roddy Piper. Who’s in? I mean seriously, the NAMA’s are gonna have some things that are not quite right. There are lots of bands. They are at least trying to do something. Let’s piss on it until it goes away like the OMA’s (Ozark Mountain Music Awards). Thanks to NAMA and the sponsors for all their work on this event. Maud Crawford appreciates the nomination again this year. I’m sure this just opens the door up for someone to hate on my bandana.

Thank you, NAMA, for the great party you throw every year for musicians. How often do any of us get to spend time with each other, all in one room? Not often, right? So I for one am greatly honored by what you do for our community of musical artists, and I look forward to this party every year!
Comment by littlerockhaley on April 14, 2010 at 11:42 am
MAN! YOU NWA people sure get serious about something as silly as music! Whew. I’ve been in the business for 8 years and personally, I haven’t ever seen anything new come out of all this hate. In fact, if everyone could stop hatin’ and start voting for DREAMFAST, WELL WELL WELL, ADAM PUTMAN, and AMYH…then maybe you’d be ok. tehehehehe
Basically, there is nothing you can ever do about bands you don’t like being popular. What else is new? Not all your favorite bands will be on here, because it’s about POPULAR VOTE. So yeah, the hard working, slow to achieve bands, that YOU REALLY LOVE– may only get credit in your heart. It’s sweet to want more for them, so PROMOTE THEM! Instead of getting on their guest list, bring a couple of friends, pay you $5.00 and support them. Put up posters, share their websites on your facebook and myspace and twitter. BE A PART OF THE SOLUTION, NOT THE PROBLEM.

Comment by jerryoliver on April 14, 2010 at 2:00 pm
I think the nominations are pretty good this year. The most criticism I heard last year was that bands who weren’t around anymore were nominated and that really hasn’t happened this year (except for Adele and the Matts…and they’re nominated for ‘best new band’. A little ironic.)
Susan Porter really works hard on this night and I think her crew and volunteers made solid improvements to an already great event.
I can’t make the show but best of luck to everyone.

I am confused as to why BKI is in southern rock. WTF is up with that? Don’t think I’ve ever confused them with Molly Hatchet, though Marty does look like he escaped from prison and into a trailer.
TEDDY SABLON should have been listed as singer song writer …..He is the front man and song writer for the band GUTA from the world/jam band section….he is totally amazing

I have loved music, music of all kinds, since I was a child. Beginning with “name that tune” from my mother when I was just learning to speak, listening over and over again to her favorite tunes of the ’60′s and ’70′s, and following thru my teen years and the overdose of ’80′s hair bands and concerts to my now eclectic collection which includes many, many sing-a-long songs for my toddler. I am proud to say that I live in NWA and have been exposed over the years to the numerous wonderful and original bands that have graced Dickson Street and beyond. While I admit that I don’t get to get out and listen as much anymore because I have a small child, I have to comment specifically on Randall Shreve and his band, not to leave out anyone else, but to share what his music has meant to me. I was taken to see him for the first time, by my friend Alicia (who has followed him and his brother for some time now) at the end of the summer in Rogers at The Bayou. I might add, for purpose of this post, that this had been the first time I had been out in a long time and I was recooping from what has probably been one of the toughest and most emotional years of my life due to personal and family issues. I wasn’t sure I was really ready for a “night on the town” so to speak, but I can tell you that within minutes, I felt myself so moved with emotions that had been dead to me for so long, that I actually felt more real then I had in months. That night, I laughed, I cried, I danced, I sang (which I can not do! LOL!!),I ate, I met new people, I felt…..ALIVE! She gave me a copy of his second CD and I have never taken it out of my CD player in my car. His music is the music that moves me, whenever I am having a day that seems almost too much to bear, I play the CD and I am reminded of happiness and joy that music used to bring to me when I was younger.
I’m not saying that their style is for everyone, I just thought I would share my thoughts and feelings on what music has done for me……
Thanks again and best of luck to all bands and musicians in all categories….and to those who weren’t nominated, don’t worry, you are still touching people and connecting with them every time you play, whether you are on a ballot or not. Music makes the world go around….

Two years running of miscategorizing the One Oz Jig…..Definitely the funkiest band around, and the music is so sexy, it should be rated….Lyrical and musical genius abounds in the band, and everyone involved is at the top of their game….The worst part about NAMA always getting it wrong (DO you guys go out to shows at all), is that now i am forced to choose between two bands that i love, that are completely different genres of music, in the same category….I dont care about NAMA choosing artists that i dont necessarily like, because truthfully, it takes all sorts in life to make this magic happen….I just wish you would get them all in the right genre slots….Need some help next year?? Seems so……

The post 2 up from mine is so true. In my personal opinion Teddy Sablon is not only among the most talented musicians in Fayetteville, he is the hardest working (not just gigging, but as far as practice goes as well). While that is just my personal opinion, there is enough other musicians in this town that would undoubtedly agree with that statement. No joke, first time I met him he was repeating some insane lick in his living room while staring at a music stand. Only the music stand had no music on it. He was reading a novel off of the stand while playing that insane stuff to get the lick burned into the back of his brain. Musicianship is out of this world, i could go on forever about how enjoyable his shows are with Guta and Crazy Neighbor. If you haven’t checked their shows out, you have no weight in your ‘lack of a music scene’ arguments.
As for the person who made the comment about no bands ever achieving a record deal from this area, a) a large number of musicians have found varying levels of success from this area upon moving to a more profitable area (in other words, their isn’t a major record label in f’ville idiot) and b) this area only became populous in the past 15 years

Ctrl+Alt+Delete: Thanks for the nomination for best new band. We appreciate everyone’s support, and we are honored to be on the list with all the other bands.
On a personal note: Ripping on the Shreve brothers, or anyone for that matter is fine and dandy if you’ve got a legitimate reason to do so. However, if you don’t like their music, that’s obviously no reason to go trashing them. You don’t go bashing a painter because you think he sucks at painting, you bash him when he bangs your wife or something else personal. Likewise, don’t listen to their music if you don’t like it, and don’t trash them until they bang your wife. Otherwise, just support music that you think is good and ignore everything else. Hopefully I’ll be at the awards show. – love Micah Szabo

This isnt about judging art. It may seem that way.It is about support. Most people who bash bands havent even seen the band they are bashing. I know because I work my butt off trying to get people to come to our shows, and I go to shows. It is most of our friends there supporting the bands. This is wierd. Bottom line.

@cluelesswaif,
Votes are tracked by the specific IP address in order to avoid ballot-stuffing.

I’m almost tempted to post “The Battle Within’s” new material for this! But all and all thank you so much for the nominee folks! It’s much appreciated! Give thanks to all bands around northwest Arkansas, you all are lucky to have so much talent in this small area! Thanks to all for supporting local music! This is to give all local music respect and appreciate them all for what they have done musically for this area!

Comment by ColleenPancake on April 9, 2010 at 8:30 am
Cletus got shot should be up for band of the year, for sure! Someone is sleeping at NAMA.

Thank you, NAMA, for the nominations!! We work hard in order to play live music as often as possible. This nod is a pat on the back and something we look forward to annually. We appreciate your effort to keep this event going, and it is one of very few opportunities that the NWA music community has a chance to come together. Thanks again!!
And thank you for the votes!!

Thanks, NAMA, for the nomination for Best Party Band! It’s taken us awhile to overcome the pigeonholing as a “political” band. (Maybe we’re a political party band; e.g., The Responsible Hedonist Party: have fun but for God’s sake use protection!) Anyhoo, we love to get our crowd happy, high, and dancing. Ames–Strange Heroes

Not sure why Bob Kramer Incident is in the Southern Rock Catagory instead of just Rock. I’ll vote for them anyway, but still confused…
Comment by bomo on April 9, 2010 at 2:39 pm

Comment by Randall Shreve on April 12, 2010 at 2:30 pm
@lojacaveman

While I’m only moderating people at this point who use extreme profanity, I would appeal to everyone to keep things civil in this comment thread. The vast majority of comments here have been civil and we appreciate that.
Spirited conversation is good, disagreements are inevitable, but let’s try to keep personal attacks to zero.
Music is an awesome subjective human experience and we have some amazing creators of music in this community.
We reserve the right to close commenting on this thread in order to extinguish a flame war.

If the Shreve brothers are as bad as the tiny few say they are, why are their shows always so mother cussin packed? The poor kids at a BDS show look so sad while Bens on stage singing. You can really tell that their fans are being paid off to act like they were having fun. I bet ”Jorden” IF THAT IS YOUR REAL NAME (who can be reached @479 381 7347,hasent even been to a show of Bens or Randalls. But anywho what the cuss do I know??

i love music. i love local music. i love OUR local music.
could it be better? yes. we don’t have the music scene of Austin or Seattle, but doesnt that just give us something to strive for? do i like all the music i hear in fayetteville? no i don’t, but that is because music is an amazing subjective experience and i won’t like everything. one thing i will tell you though is that i have the upmost respect for all my fellow local musicians who are putting themselves on the line with their art, and i support them. just because you don’t like it is no reason to not support it. putting people down and acting like they don’t have the right to be in this awards ceremony makes me kind of sick actually. support our local music scene, dont tear it down, and if you do at least tell us to our face when you come to our shows what the problem is, instead of flaming everybody on a message board.
btw i think randal has some of the most interesting music around, and puts on one of the best shows. fantastic
lastly i would like to reiterate that i love our music here in fayetteville, and thank you to everybody who is being supportive, you are the ones who will keep it alive.

Maud Crawford is the best!!!! Band of the year for 2011!!!

BTW, Randall Shreve, Candy Lee and Calling Tokyo are finally nominated this year, I hope they all win. Three of my favorite performers/bands in the area. And 1 Oz. Jig is nominated again this year.

All about the Jig baby, should be something for individual instrumentalists, so I could vote for my man Jeff Gray on the horn, cat can swing. Was surprised not to see Pumpkinhead get no mention…. And yeah, wtf with the Jig being in Americana instead of Funk?

Tiffany Christopher is awesome and certainly is a great choice for Female Singer/Songwriter! She has written over 80 songs, arranged them all, and is presents them with such energy and style with her Ella style Scat and her sweet off the charts guitar skill! If you’re waivering…Tiffany Christopher is a great Vote!

I am confused as to why BKI is in southern rock. WTF is up with that? Don’t think I’ve ever confused them with Molly Hatchet, though Marty does look like he escaped from prison and into a trailer.

WOW! I just went through all the BS. Everyone get off the high horses and support PEOPLE. That is all we all are. PEOPLE! I dont understand music snobs. You know who you are. Maybe you dont? This isnt about judging art. It may seem that way.It is about support. Most people who bash bands havent even seen the band they are bashing. I know because I work my butt off trying to get people to come to our shows, and I go to shows. It is most of our friends there supporting the bands. This is wierd. Bottom line. GO SUPPORT YOUR MUSIC SCENE!!!! DONT HATE IT! Sean Merriott A Good Fight
